What you could play this weekend
Nothing makes me feel quite so motivated as a camping trip, and not in a good way. It's like when you get to the end of a long holiday and right before you're due to return to work, you feel this sudden burst of inspiration to do all the things you soon won't be able to. I could have started a running habit or become the sort of person who gets up at 6am and meditates, but alas, I'm going camping this weekend. I could have played all these new videogames, but alas, I'm going camping this weekend.
Here's what you could be playing. Tell us what you are playing in the comments below.
The Mermaid Mask

The latest game in the Detective Grimoire series, and another standalone mystery to solve. This one is a locked room murder, and unlike its predecessor, every clue is a 3D object you can rotate and explore in search of secrets. It's also fully voiced and wonderfully animated, if the trailers are any indication. I need to make time to play this.
Denshattack!

Jet Set Radio if instead of a skateboard you were flipping and grinding as a train on a set of impossible tracks spread across a colourful, dystopian Japan. I don't know how it feels in the hands, but it's dripping with style, and I'm already hooked on the soundtrack. I also need to make time to play this.
Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit

Cozy Grove is a life-sim in which you craft, fish and tend to the needs of ghosts upon a lush island. Camp Spirit is the sequel that looks like it offers more of the same. "Cozy" is right there in the title and there's a heavy emphasis on making a game that's even more relaxing than your typical Animal Crossing 'em up. It's also by Spry Fox, makers of early beloved mobile word game Alphabear.
Or you could be playing The Incident At Galley House, which takes the excellent text deduction game Type Help and adds audio and visuals by the developers of Roottrees Are Dead, and which Jay reviewed for us earlier this week.
I would have been playing Galley House this weekend but alas, I am camping this weekend. I'll probably have fun once I'm there. Tell us what you're playing below, in the internet's best and only comment section.
